Excellent breakfast and lunch. Our favorites are the flank steak enchiladas and the ceviche. They provide service to hotel Nueva Vida located across the street.

A very atmospheric place. Nice service. And the food. The best taco I've had in Mexico so far. We ate tacos with shrimp and chicken. And the guacamole was also first class. Revelation. And great music too.

I stayed at Hotel Nueva Vida across the street, and this restaurant serviced the hotel, so we visited nearly every day for breakfast and lunch. The food was always excellent, especially the spinach omelettes with potato wedges and the refreshing Chaya green juice – both were amazing! The Angus burgers, calamari tacos, fresh juices, and French toast with fruits were also really good! But for my family and me, the real highlight was Stevan! He’s incredibly friendly, laid-back, and always made sure to check in with us to see if we needed anything, whether it was drinks or food at the beach. He truly made our experience at the restaurant a delight. Thank you for making our stay so memorable and our tummies happy!

We had lunch at Tamarindos and it was unreal !! From the delicious seafood dishes, to the cute seating areas, it’s a must visit if you are strolling down Tulum Beach Road !! Since being in Mexico, we’ve become a sucker for a Mezcalita & a Carijillo !! Salud ! Our starters were so tasty.. we went for the Grilled Chicken Skewers & the Grouper and Coconut Ceviche. You can’t go wrong with a Ceviche.. so refreshing and so SO yummy Now for the mains !! We went down the seafood route as there is a lot of variety at Tamarindos. We tasted the Tuna Steak burger & the ‘Catch of the Day’ which for us Mahi Mahi We love it when we go to restaurant and there’s something new & unique you’ve never tried before !! Overall, Tamarindos is a must visit if you fancy a bite to eat down near the beach in Tulum.. and we’ve heard that they also have amazing breakfast dishes !! and can we just point out, we were obsessed with the seating !!

I went here for lunch. Had a great time! Gabriel is a cool dude and super friendly, easy going- as is his staff. I was recommended the fish and the steak and that did not disappoint. Especially loved this fish dish entree, see the picture . Fresh local grouper, avocado, coconut milk, lime. Not sure If I remember correctly how, but the fish is marinated. Really fresh and surprisingly tasty combined with the coconut and lime (tiger milk?) Anyway, recommended! Followed by the Prime New York steak, grilled pearl onions and baked rosemary potatoes. Simple. Good. Yum! Careful with their habanero hot sauce! :-) In hindside I could have done with either one of them, as they are fair sized big portions! But had no breakfast so no complaints here. Which also means value for money in my opinion. O and loved the music / the playlist - which for me is very important ! ;-)

I'm big on breakfast and Tamarindos really hit the spot. So much so, we went twice during our short stay in Tulum. The restaurant itself is cute, but it's right on the street, so no beach views. We went early enough that the road wasn't busy and we found it pretty peaceful. We ordered the Breakfast Burrito and the French Toast (both times). One of the best breakfast burritos I've had in a long time... same with the french toast. Our meal cost about 35 USD / 700. There's not a lot of affordable options in this area, so we were very happy with the meal quality and cost. They also brought out a slice of toast, complimentary, with some fresh made jam, which was a nice touch. As far as the service, we had one really great waiter who even offered me the recipe for one of their sauces that I enjoyed so much, and another just-okay waiter who pretended to not include the tip on the bill (when he really had). Be careful of this while in Tulum and always ask if tip is included. We found 9 times out of 10, it was automatically included, usually at 15%. Overall, I highly recommend Tamarindos for brunch. I don't think you could go wrong with anything on their menu.

We stayed in Tulum for 4 days and had breakfast here every day. It was absolutely delicious and the service was impeccable. If you are staying at Nueva Vida de Ramiro, they will bring you food and drinks to the beach!

Breakfast and lunch. We stayed at nueva vida di ramiro across the street and this place and the hotel have some partnership. Breakfast is complimentary and it is delicious. Fruit or juice, coffee, toast with amazing tropical jam, potatos or something I didn’t order, and omelette 3 different styles. I loved the scrambled eggs with Mexican style. Everything is made beautifully and appealing. My girls also ordered the banana pancakes, acai bowl, salmon toast and the avocado toast. These have additional charge but All were delicious and my girls ate it up. Next is lunch. Lunch service is available at the hotel and it did not disappoint. Grouper (fish) ceviche, guacamole, hamburgers, tacos, chicken breast all were delicious. By the pool it was a great time. Esteban was exceptional. So kind. All the servers were so sweet. We were getting bitten by tabanos but they helped us ward them off. Thank you! Check it out!
